NGC1788
NGC1788 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion. Although some distance from the iconic M42 Orion nebula the bright stars in that area have an impact on this nebula and have been responsible for forming the shape of M78.
This image was taken with the Celestron C11 Shmidt-Cassegrain with an f7.2 reducer/corrector. Camera was an Atik one/9 with Red,Green,Blue and Luminance filters. I took only 140 minutes with each filter which explains why there is not much detail to the image. One of my earlier images it has taken a number of processing sessions to get to this point. I intend to reimage this object soon.
